There were great expectations that we would not have
a service this year, but in November 2 bikers died in
accidents in Bethlehem, sadly bringing us to yet
another Memorial Run on the 29th of November.

BIKERS FOR JESUS To work as a team, each with our own talents and abilities, in such a manner that others will see the light and love of God in us. To share what we have with others and to serve in our community. AND TO GOD THE GLORY !

CHRISTMAS WITH CHRISTENBURG
With toys and donations collected at the Toyrun in November,
Bethlehem Chapter hosted a Christmas Lunch on the 12th of
December for Christenburg, a haven for underprivileged families.
But first the kiddies had the excitement of a Christmas Tree with
lots and lots of presents. In total they hosted 75 people for lunch,
with Trudie Esterhuizen and Paulene Swart in charge of the kitchen
and all the cooking. Tables were set outside on the grass to provide
enough space, and everyone enjoyed a huge meal, topped up with
a delicious desert and sweets afterward
Children wait in
anticipation for
the presents to
arrive

TOYRUN 2009 BETHLEHEM
This year's Toyrun was yet another success story! Bikers attended from all over, and even more people came on foot to join the fun at the Metropolitan Centre, giving toys, clothes and cash donations. We were blessed with so much, and even the weather turned out perfect. This Christmas will once again be full of smiling faces for many underprivileged children! Thank you, Eastern Freestate and the Bikers Forum for your part in this wonderful day.

CATS RALLY 2009
The CATS Rally was one of the biggest ever this year, and Cape Town, East London, Kimberley, Hartsvallei, Standerton and Bethlehem attended, with Pretoria, Germiston and Heidelberg not present. A total of 71 people were counted. CMA Racing (Welkom), Wild Bunch (Bethlehem), Fast & Furious (Bethlehem), visitors from Pretoria, Boksburg and Bethlehem were also there. The services were a blessing, with Pastor Des (Pretoria) and Herman Uys (Pretoria) giving word. The Saturday fun run through Kestell, Golden Gate and Clarens was a winner, and with the Eastern Freestate this year at it's best, the scenery was a feast for the eye. Thank you to all our members who came from far to make this one of the best CATS Rally ever!!
