BETHLEHEM TOYRUN 2008

The members from Germiston
joined us on the occasion

You don't need a BIG bike to
join the fun ! This biker
completed the funrun with
no problem at all

Bikers gathered at the Frontier
Casino since 9:00 and kept coming
even when the funrun already
started at 10:00

There were no shortage with
displays of toys on the bikes

The funrun showed our bikers in
a joyes mood and had the public
joining in the fun

Since the first Toyrun in 1999
we never had so many bikes
together!

FROZEN BUD GERMISTON '08

Various clubs gathered at the East
Rand Mall where the Frozen Bud
kicked off, and joined at the Wimpy
for a meal before the activities started

Hein Brandt (Bethlehem) arrives at the
Mall after completing the a 1500 km
drive in the Men with Balls, leaving from
Bloemfontein to Germiston in the afternoon
and still arrived in time for the Frozen Bud!

Fun in the Mall while waiting for the entries
to be completed outside, Rudi & Elna Wolmarans,
previous from Boksburg and now leaders of
Bethlehem Chapter, enjoy the company

The ladies from Germiston Club working
hard with all the entries. More than 400
bikes showed up for the run

Driving on the highway was a
wonderful experience, with the guys
from Think Bike handling the traffic.
Congratulations to Germiston Chapter
for a well prepared event!

SOCIAL MEETING BETHLEHEM

Bethlehem Club invited the
Clowns to join in a social get
together on a Wednesday
evening, to get to know
one another better

Preparing the food is big
responsibility, and the ladies
treated the guys with vetkoek
and ice cream waffles

Gathering around the table
and dig in ! The evening was
a great success - a nice way
to bond with other clubs

BIKERS CHURCH

2008/07/23
Thing are moving at a rapped pace for the bikers church, and we are now having a service every
2 weeks, on request of the local bikers. The clubhouse has been named THE BIKERS CHAPEL and we can only be thankful that the numbers in attendance is growing with every service, praise the Lord! Services has now been divided between Marc Timmins and Willie Esterhuizen, and to God the glory for the gift that He anointed these two men with to bring the word!
On request by the Bikers Forum in Bethlehem, the clubhouse was transformed into a bikers church after the original services by Woordskool Uitreikings was moved to Kransfontein, as the
building became to small to cope with the amount of people that attended every Sunday. Services will be held once a month for the time being, but might soon extend to twice a month. With God's grace, this will be another milestone for Guardian Angels National, as this was the original vision which the founder members got when they started the club.

This little fella arrived
at church sound asleep!
Dad Marc Timmins could
not get Zeth to stay awake

Church can sometimes be
noisy, as a visitor from
Natal showed us when
starting up his bike on
request

Bikers gather outside the
clubhouse before the service

as a pulpit.

service and bikers enjoy

BLANKET RUN '08 BETHLEHEM

Bethlehem held their
annual Blanketrun on
the 22nd May, which
started with a church
run at the National Club
house and progressed to
BJ's in town where the
blankets were dropped

Marc Timmins introduces
the latest addition to his
family, baby Enyah, to
the biking community

There were plenty time
to joke around while
blankets were dropped.
54 Blankets were donated
to various homes.

A lovely team photo of
bikers that joined in the
days fun

And before departing to
Clarens for a well deserved
meal, a circle of thanks giving
to the Lord for a day so blessed.

MIGHTY MEN CONFERENCE 2008

The tent used at the Mighty Men
Conference this year is one of the
biggest in the world. Sixty thousand
men attended the weekend on Angus
Bakkes' farm in Kwazulu Natal

The men get ready for another
session of spiritual upliftment
during the weekend. Food was in
abundance, and the atmosphere
was loaded with the presence of
the Holy Spirit

Thousands of hands go up to
praise the Lord!

Guardian Angels - Germiston 1st Birthdaybash
